Here are some tips as you complete your applications:

• You will first need to sign up with an email and password.  Once you’ve entered that information you will receive an email to confirm your account and after it it’s confirmed you’ll then be able to complete the application.
• Applications can be completed in either Spanish or English.
• You will need to have the following information available to complete the application:
  • Parent/Guardian Legal Name
  • Parent/Guardian Contact Information (email address and phone number that can receive text messages for updates) and Preferred Language (English or Spanish)
  • Parent/Guardian Current Residential Address
  • Address used for the 2022 Iowa State Tax Return, if different from current address 
  • Parent/Guardian ID Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number)
  • Parent/Guardian Spouse ID (Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number)
  • Student’s Legal Name
  • Student’s Date of Birth
  • Student’s Residential Address (if it is different from the parent/guardian address)
• Once your application is complete, most families will receive notification of approval within 30 minutes.
• After you are approved, beginning on July 15^th you will need to go back into your account and designate Beckman Catholic as the school of enrollment for your child(ren.)
• If you need assistance, Odyssey, the ESA application provider, will staff a helpline and email address to assist with any problems. (515-368-9564 or help.ia@withodyssey.com) There is also a chat feature available within the application.

• All entering kindergarten students
• All students currently enrolled in a public school or currently homeschooled to switch enrollment to an accredited nonpublic school
• A student currently enrolled in an accredited nonpublic school with a household income at or below 300% of the 2023 Federal Poverty Guideline, $90,000 for a family of four

The deadline to apply for the ESA program for the upcoming school year is June 30^th, 2023.  No late applications will be accepted.  The process is estimated to take 10 to 15 minutes so we encourage you to do this as soon as possible.  Do not wait until the last minute to complete an application.
